Obituary for Beverly A. Cramer

Beverly A. Cramer, 87, of Sturgis, beloved Mother, Mamoo, Grandma, Great-Grandma and sister, passed away early Tuesday morning, December 12, 2017, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born on December 4, 1930, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to the late Berniece and C. Dwight Bridge. Her early life was spent in and around Fort Wayne, growing up with and helping to raise her brothers, William and David.
She was joyfully joined in marriage to her beloved husband, Emery L. Cramer, on September 24, 1949, in Fort Wayne. She was entirely devoted to Em, and they were blessed to enjoy 60 years of marriage, until his untimely death on April 22, 2010.
Bev and Em originally came to Sturgis in 1960. They resided there until 2000, when they moved to Holland, Michigan and lived for 3 years. They then moved to Virginia for a time and returned to Sturgis in 2009.
She enjoyed reading, studying genealogy, writing, working crossword puzzles, watching sports and spending time with her family.
Bev was a blessing to all who knew her, especially her loving family, who will treasure so many precious memories and take solace in knowing that she has been reunited with her one and only love, Em.
She is survived by her dedicated and grateful family: daughter, Theresa Potts, of Three Rivers, Michigan, grandchildren Amy (Aaron) Morris, of Sturgis, Julie (Josh) Kerns, of Sturgis, Tony (Tara) Cramer, of Holland, Michigan and Scott (Alisha) Roberts, of Centreville, Michigan; great-grandchildren Coby, Brianna, Liam, Paige, Evan, Ashley, Emma, Noah and Leah; brother David (Rita) Bridge of Indianapolis, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers Donald and William Bridge.
"She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."" Proverbs 31:26-29.
