Obituary for Margaret Bernice Molter

Margaret Bernice “Bea” (Hart) Molter age 96 of Sturgis, Michigan was surrounded by her family when she went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday afternoon September 12, 2017 at the Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers, Michigan.
She was born February 14, 1921 in LaGrange, Indiana daughter of the late Fay W. and Kathryn (Wright) Hart.
Bea attended Brighton High School in Brighton, Indiana graduating with the class of 1939.
On March 3, 1943 she married Carl Lincoln Molter. He died March 13, 2015.
Bea had been employed by the Kirsch Company and Harvey Paper Company before accepting a position with Ross Laboratories in Sturgis retiring in 1984 following 23 years of dedicated employment.
Bea was a longtime active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sturgis.
She is survived by three daughters: Carrol (Allen) Kasdorf of Sturgis, Sandra (James) Young of Kalamazoo and Kathryn (Richard) Wilson of Sturgis; six grandchildren: Jason (Kathleen) Kasdorf, Julie (Shawn) VanEgmond, Kim (Chuck) Johnson, Justin (Heather) Wilson, Shannon Wilson and Joseph (Brandi) Kasdorf; 10 great grandchildren: Colin Wilson, Emma Wilson, Bradyn Webb, Sunshine Berglund, Sophia Wilson, Kennedy Wilson, Noah Johnson, Grace Johnson, Dylan VanEgmond and Harper VanEgmond; three brothers: Fay Hart, Jr., Paul Richard Hart and Mickey Hart; five sisters: Thelma Wilson, Patricia Reid, Virginia Schwinn and Sharon Gulley and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; three grandchildren: Baby Girl Kasdorf, Scott Allen Kasdorf and Jaime Schuler; two brothers: William Hart and Kenneth Hart and two sisters: Ruth Ridley Coonrod and Phyllis Palmer.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A memorial service celebrating the life of Margaret “Bea” Molter will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 30th at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sturgis. The Revs. Calvin Kolzow, and James Balzer will officiate. A graveside committal of Bea and Carl’s ashes will follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis. In recognition of Carl’s service to his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and honorable discharge, full military honors will be conferred by Captain John J. Kelley Post #1355 VFW and the U.S. Army Honor Guard.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial donation be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 S. Lakeview Ave., Sturgis, MI 49091.
