Obituary for Mrs. Nancy L. Inman

Nancy L. Inman age 80 of Sturgis, Michigan passed away early Monday morning July 3, 2017 at her home.
She was born November 9, 1936 in Sturgis, Michigan daughter of the late Harold and Leona (Siefert) Wegner.
Nancy was a lifelong Sturgis resident and a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1954.
On April 27, 1957 she married Alvin Inman at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sturgis by the Rev. Herbert M. Heidenreich.
Nancy had been employed by the Sturgis Journal as a reporter, Harvey Paper Products and Royeton Chevrolet all in Sturgis. Nancy would tell you although she worked at area companies and businesses her real job was being the dedicated wife, mother and grandmother to her family and working side by side with all of them on the Inmans Hog Farm.
She was a lifelong member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sturgis and served as the Fawn River Township Treasurer for 37 years.
Nancy was a founding member of the Blabbermouths Euchre Club which has been in existence for over 60 years and was also a founding member of the Fawn River Clovers 4-H Club serving as a leader for many years. She will forever be remembered for the wonderful cakes she baked and decorated for many occasions including birthday and anniversary parties and weddings. She enjoyed attending auctions, crafts, sewing mowing lawns and researching genealogy. Nancy had involvements and hobbies but what she truly loved was time spent with her family especially attending the many school and sporting events of her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 60 years: Alvin; two daughters: Kalyn (Timothy) Pulling and Kristi (Michael) Bronstetter both of Sturgis; one son: Kurt (Marcia) Inman of Sturgis; six grandchildren: Eric (Jessica) Pulling of Holly Springs, North Carolina, Jaime (Brendan) Allen of Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia, Ella Inman of New York, New York, Gretchen Inman of Sturgis, Hannah Bronstetter and Emma Bronstetter both of Sturgis; five great granddaughters: Claire Pulling, Madison Pulling, Makenzie Pulling, Nancy Allen and Maggie Allen; one brother: David (Diane) Wegner of Black Hawk, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
