Obituary for Geraldine Marie Stark

Geraldine Marie (Carr) Stark was born in Alpena, Michigan on April 4th 1928. She passed away on November 19th 2017. Gerry married Walter Stark on May 3rd 1947; they were married 70 years.
Gerry and Wally moved to Sturgis in 1954.
Many people may remember Gerry as a sales clerk in downtown Sturgis. She worked at Seger’s Department Store, Thomas Jewelry and J.C. Penney.
Gerry was mother to Susan (Tom) Revitte, Kathy (Roger) Kuhl, and Stephen (Patti) Stark. She was proud to say that she had seven grandchildren - Max and Adam Kuhl, Thomas and Lisa Revitte, Emily Landess , Tyler and Andrew Stark.
Gerry enjoyed her home and yard, but more than anything she loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Gerry was proud of her family and was delighted to tell people that she had thirteen great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Private burial of the ashes will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis.
The Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, MI 49091, 269-651-2331 is entrusted with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations would be appreciated to the Holy Angels Catholic Church, 402 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, MI 49091.
